Personal Digital Archives Website Prototype

For this project, I created a prototype for a digital archiving tool, that would be made available to anyone wishing to safely preserve copies of personal files, artefacts, photos etc. This project was part of a Digital Arts and Humanities module focusing on how technology shapes our every day lives. My incentive to creating this website was to make archival practices accessible to inexperienced users, and to educate users on the important archival reserves across Ireland. I also wanted to remove the fear of ‘incorrect’ archival practices with a digital tool that is easy to navigate for beginners.
